Regularly checking your hearing quality is an important step in maintaining your overall health and to diagnose hearing loss. This is a good place to start on your hearing health and the test involves checking your hearing in 6 different social scenarios. Start the hearing test now We remind you that only a hearing test performed by a qualified Audiologist and/or a consultation with an ENT medical professional can provide you with a precise profile of your hearing ability with detailed demonstrations of our hearing aid models and styles. This test does not replace a professional hearing test from a qualified Audiologist. At Amplifon, our Audiologists and Audiometrists are members of Audiology Australia, the Australian College of Audiology, or Hearing Aid Audiometrist Society of Australia.During the test, you will be presented with six sounds clips depicting everyday scenarios, such as people talking in a busy bar or somebody asking for directions in the street.
At the end of the clip, you will be asked a question on what you’ve just heard and must pick from four options. Once you’ve answered the six questions, you will be given a score out of ten and a recommendation based on your test results.
