You can find an expert Audiologist at each of our stores throughout India. Every one has the scientific knowledge and human touch to help improve your personal and social interactions with the world of sound around you.
An Audiologist is a qualified professional who can diagnose hearing loss as well as identify any other hearing related problems that may require attention from a medical professional. They are also trained to prescribe and fit hearing aids and advise on any additional hearing solution.
At Amplifon, we pride ourselves on our aftercare, which we offer free for life when you purchase hearing aids from us.
We also provide up to four years warranty on your hearing aid and are always ready and happy to answer any questions you may have. Every Audiologist at Amplifon is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
As a respected professional organisation, the RCI only accepts members who adhere to its strict standards for professional skills, training and behaviour. This can provide you peace of mind, knowing that our highly qualified Audiologists have the experience and skills to provide the best solution for your needs.
With access to state-of-the-art technology, we are here to ensure you can go about your daily life with the added benefit of better hearing.
What can our Audiologists do for you?
An Amplifon Audiologist is much more than just a hearing specialist. Although, typically, their primary job is to test hearing, and to prescribe and fit hearing aids.
During your hearing test, your Audiologist will ask you about your hearing problems and they will ask you to use a set of headphones to listen to a series of sounds at different pitches in each ear. All you need to do is respond every time you hear a sound. Our hearing test is one of the most thorough in the industry.
Your Audiologist will then take you through the results of your hearing test and help you undertsand your hearing levels. Basis the type of loss, you will be prescribed the right hearing aids that are suitable for your needs. Find your nearest Amplifon store.
When your hearing aids are ready, you will be asked to attend a fitting appointment with your dedicated audiologist. They will check that they fit properly and provide you with the right level of amplification and clear speech understanding. They will then show you how to wear, clean, and store, as well as answering any questions you may have.
Your hearing levels change throughout your life; regular appointments with your Audiologist are just as important as those with your optician or dentist. We provide a Lifetime Aftercare programme to ensure you always stay in touch with the world around you.
Aftercare may involve helping you plan and manage your hearing challenges through your devices. We are also available to provide help, advice or support whenever required.
