This document should be read in addition to the manufacturer’s Standard Warranty Conditions
The Device shall be the hearing aid covered which was purchased on the Purchase Date.
Amplicard Term is a minimum of 3 years to a maximum of 4 years from the Purchase Date.
The Parties agree that in consideration for the fee paid by the Customer the Supplier will provide the benefits as set out below.
RIGHT TO CANCEL
You have 60 days from the date of purchase of the Amplicard to cancel and receive a refund of the price paid unless a claim has already been made by you or benefit taken under the Amplicard terms.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
1.1 The Manufacturer’s Standard Warranty applies to the Device for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.
1.2 In addition to the Manufacturer’s Standard Warranty Amplicard provides an additional 1 years Manufacturer’s Warranty (3 years Standard Manufacturer’s Warranty in total) and further additional benefits for the Device for 3 years from the Purchase Date and which will include;
1.2.1 Replacing or repairing your Device in the event of failure of the Device subject to the following exclusions;
a) Damage or failure caused by the improper use of the Hearing Aid including but not limited to the use of adhesives, adhesive tapes, incorrect storage conditions, incorrect usage including but not limited to high humidity, extreme heat or wet environments.
b) Usage or maintenance contrary to the manufacturer’s/Supplier’s instructions
c) Electrostatic discharge (ESD)
d) Damaged or leaking batteries
e) Damage caused by bodily fluids including but not limited to sweat and ear wax
f) Damage due to immersion in liquid or similar
g) Exposure to chemicals and to undue stress (physical pressure, dropping animal bites);
h) Accessories to/for the Device are expressly excluded from this Extended Warranty
OPTION TO TAKE ADDITIONAL 15 BATTERY PACKS
1.3 It is an option of Amplicard that the Customer may request (before the end of the Extended Warranty Term) a further 15 battery packs per hearing aid (maximum 30 battery in total).
GENERAL
1.4 This Amplicard is not transferable.
1.5 This Amplicard and its benefits shall operate in addition to any Statutory Rights you may have.

OPTIONAL PORTABLE CHARGING CASE
1.3 The Supplier will supply on the Purchase Date, on request, a portable charging case for the Device. The portable charging case will be subject to the Manufacturer’s Standard Warranty for the charging case for 24 months from the Purchase Date. This Option 1.3 cannot be used in conjunction with Option 1.4
OPTION TO TAKE 60 BATTERY PACKS
1.4 The Customer may request on the Purchase Date the option to have 15 battery packs supplied per 12 months to a total of 60 battery packs over 4 years, per hearing aid. This option 1.4 cannot be used in conjunction with option 1.3
EAR WAX REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1.5 The Customer may request one ear wax removal procedure to be performed by the Supplier in store if determined clinically necessary by the Supplier’s qualified hearing aid dispenser. The wax removal will be performed by micro-suction when deemed appropriate and softening of earwax by the Customer may be requested prior to the procedure. The wax removal option is valid for 4 years from the Purchase Date.
DEVICE INSURANCE
1.6 During the term of this Amplicard Plus in the event of loss, theft or irreparable accidental damage, you will receive a one off contribution (less any applicable excess) towards a replacement Device. See separate standard Insurance T&Cs for more details.

COURTESY LOAN DEVICE
1.7 During the term of this Amplicard Total a single or pair of loan Devices will be provided to you free of charge (may be subject to a security deposit at the discretion of the Supplier) if you are without your Device(s) if lost or with the manufacturer for repair. The loan Device will remain the property of Amplifon UK and must be returned to the Supplier’s issuing store on the agreed date for return and in the same condition as the day the Device was loaned to the Customer.
(Whilst the Device may not be identical to the Customer’s current model, the Supplier will use best endeavors to match with similar technology levels and form factor.)

All quotations are made and orders accepted subject to the following terms and benefits and are in addition to your statutory rights which remain unaffected*. The term "hearing aid" refers to monaural or binaural fittings.

We have over 65 years of experience in providing hearing aid solutions for individuals suffering with hearing loss. With the fitting of every new hearing aid, a period of rehabilitation is necessary. As part of our commitment to providing you with continuing aftercare, we undertake to provide you with further personal consultations after the fitting of your hearing aid at no additional charge to you. Such consultations will assess your progress and offer any further assistance that may be required. These further consultations will be arranged with you or they may be arranged by telephoning our Support Office as detailed below.
Your hearing aid is supplied to you with the full benefit of our 60 Day Money Back Guarantee of Satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your hearing aid you may return it to us within 60 days of the date of fitting. We will refund the price of the hearing aid(s)in full, once all items are returned to Amplifon: including hearing aid(s), accessories and batteries. You will be liable for the cost of all items that are damaged or not returned within the 60 days from date of fitting. Your rights to obtain a refund or repair of your hearing aid(s) in the event of you being supplied with a faulty hearing aid(s) are not restricted.
Our free hearing test provides a thorough assessment of your hearing by our qualified hearing professionals, who will explain your results at the appointment. Free, no obligation to buy.
1) The person who is recommending should be an existing customer who has previously bought hearing aids with Amplifon.
2) The 'Friend' is an individual who has not previously bought hearing aids with Amplifon. They could have had a hearing test with Amplifon before.
3) Both parties will only receive their reward if the relationship has been processed on the Amplifon system. The ‘Friend’ must say who they have been recommended by either at the time of booking or when they attend their hearing test. As long as it is before they purchase.
4) A reward of £50 is given to both the existing customer and friend when the Friend has a hearing loss and opens a trial or purchases.
5) If the friend opens a trial or purchases, but then rejects it and opens another new trial or purchases, this is always counted as 1.
6) The friend must open a trial or purchase within 30 days of the hearing test.
7)The existing customer and friend need to have at least one source of contact information each (Email Address, Mobile Number or Landline Number)
8) Once the friend has opened a trial or purchases, please allow up to 48 hours for the reward to be available on the website.
9) The existing customer can recommend up to 5 friends. From the 3rd friend to 5th friend, the reward doubles from £50 to £100 per friend.
10) Once the friend has bought Amplifon hearing aids, they can then recommend up to 5 friends themselves.
11) The reward is subject to the conditions of the chosen supplier.
12) Amplifon reserves the right to change the gift card supplier and offer value without notice or to terminate or extend the program at a timing of it’s choosing without notification.
13) A gift card is not redeemable for cash.
Within our Advanced, Premium and Elite Care Packages, Amplifon offers a free supply of batteries based on reasonable usage.
As a guide, Amplifon would reasonably expect customers to use up to 15 packs of batteries, per aid per year for size 10 requirements, 10 packs of batteries, per aid per year for size 312 requirements and 6 packs of batteries, per aid per year for size 13 requirements.
Amplifon encourages customers to make full use of their hearing aids and to understand how they can benefit from the features. Accordingly, Amplifon may allow customers to exceed the number of free batteries included in their Care Package over and above the reasonable usage expectations. Amplifon however reserves the right to refuse to supply additional free batteries over and above the reasonable usage levels that appear to be abusive or excessive.

If your complaint relates to your finance agreement
If your complaint relates to the finance linked to your purchase you can still let us know about this, but we will forward it on to your credit provider Novuna.
Novuna will acknowledge your complaint and investigate it thoroughly and issue their response within eight weeks.
What to do if you can't reach an agreement
If you are not satisfied with Novuna’s response to your complaint relating to the finance agreement, you may be able to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You must contact them within six months of the date of Novuna’s final response letter to you.
